EZ-Q Universe's sound and style is largely influenced by retro golden age hip hop from the late 80's and early 90's. EZ-Q Universe is over 25 years old in the his art form. Nigerian-American Hip hop Artist/Producer, Graphic Designer, Entertainment Lawyer and Motivational speaker with musical roots emanating from South Bronx, NYC. EZ-Q Universe is an Alternative Hip Hop protégé of the Native Tongues Crew of New York (which members included 'The Jungle Brothers', 'De La Soul', 'A Tribe Called Quest',  'Queen Latifah', 'Monie Love', 'Black Sheep', 'Chi Ali' etc). EZ-Q Universe embraces a positive and conscious style of classical hip hop with a touch of soul, r&b, rock and funk. 

​EZ-Q Universe is currently working on his debut EP Album entitled 'Soul Volution' which is largely infused with soulful musical instrumentation and vocals with a clean lyrical rhyme delivery. Soul Volution is like a trip back down to the era of 1988 - 1995 Big Daddy Kane, Eric B & Rakim, Lord Finesse, Show Biz and A.G. era with sound engineering of the current era.

​A taste of Soul Volution is like entering into a time machine back into the future. The EP is set to be released later in 2017 with no compromises in style and quality. Just when is was thought that alternative soul hip hop was dead, EZ-Q Universe breathes life into the niche genre and art form. A must listen for 90's golden era hip hop lovers.
